Because of God’s love for us, He has opened a simple way for those who want to become Christians. All you have to do is putting faith in Jesus as your Savior, completely believing that His death is a complete sacrifice for our sins (John 3:16), absolutely depend on Him as the only Redeemer (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). Being a Christian is not just about rituals, going to church, or doing some doctrinal things and abstinence from others. Being a Christian boils down to having a personal relationship with Jesus. A personal relationship with Him, through faith, is what makes a person a Christian.
If you feel that you are ready to become a Christian by accepting Jesus as the Savior of your life, all you need to do is believe in Him. Are you aware of your sin and that you deserve God’s judgment? Do you understand and believe that Jesus took the punishment on your behalf? Do you understand and believe that His death was the perfect sacrifice for your sins. If your answer to all three of these questions is yes, then simply place your trust in the Savior, Jesus Christ. Receive Him, by faith, fully trusting Him alone. That’s what makes you a Christian.
